What exactly is monomedia?
The same could be asked of its linguistic counterpart, the often heralded term Multimedia. In order to define monomedia more clearly, the definition of multimedia should be explored first.
Multimedia is a term which is explained differently depending on the source consulted. A quick search on Google clearly demonstrates the inability to cope and lacks a definite and consistent description. However, several key items can be explored.
1) Interaction. Is multimedia interaction? Is it communication? If so, is it one-way, or do the roles of sender and receiver coincide?
2) Computer assisted interfaces. Is a computer system neccesary?
3) Multitude of sensory inputs. Should all senses be addresses, or just several?
